WIld Cup Plant and Bumblebees

Most of my summer flowers are ready for deadheading and flowerbed cleanout, but there are still bold spots of color to be seen. I spotted these Cup Plants on my walk and paused to notice the bumble bees that were visiting and gathering up nectar and enjoying these days before their days are over.

Sad to know that the bumblebees are not destined to survive the winter, but a good reminder to enjoy every day we’ve got.
