Peaches of Transition

Peaches are such a vibe of summer. Sweet and juicy. But when baked with cinnamon and sugar and topped with a crumbly oatmeal topping, it feels like cozy with every bite. Making a peach cobbler this week with the last of my Peach Truck peaches felt like a sort of closing ceremonies of summer.

Slicing up a dozen peaches, mixing the ingredients from memory and intuition and noticing the house warm with the scent of sweet and cinnamon was its own sort of remedy for my soul.

Closing out a summer of memories and building excitement for the season ahead.
