Sunflower Picking

This weekend we met up with my sister’s family and went sunflower picking and explored some craft-filled tents as part of a local Sunflower Festival. It was a beautiful fall-leaning day where the kids had a ton of fun helping me decide on which flowers to fill my jar with and running around marveling at how enormous some of the sunflower leaves were.

They have been a sunny delight on the counter and got me dreaming about which varieties I might want to plant for myself next year.
