The Trickiness That Comes With October
Octobers are a tricky time for me. And not just because Halloween comes at the end of it. It took me a little bit to notice this and reflect on it more in this journal entry.
Celebrate
Today would have been my mom’s 71st birthday. This is one of my favorite pictures of her and I keep a copy by my desk. It was taken 30 years ago and I’m the same age as her in this photo. That feels completely weird to say, that anything that feels so close to my heart could be three decades old.
